Parts Concession

The Out-of-Warranty Part Concession Benefit:

Trane Technologies makes a conscious choice to partner with dealer contractors who share our commitment to providing the best customer experience. To fully support American Standard Customer Care (ASCC) dealers enrolled in the elite program, we offer increased coverage through the Out-of-Warranty Part Concession benefit. The benefit will ensure increased consumer confidence in our products, protect dealer reputation, and build customer loyalty through peace of mind.

Overview: The Concession program applies only to these major components:

  • Compressor
  • Outdoor Coil
  • Indoor Coil
  • Heat Exchanger

Trane Technologies will concession the Part and the dealer must concession 100% of the labor for the component replacement.

Concession Period: The Concession Period is the time frame, after warranty expiration, in which a part concession can be made with this program. The Concession Period differs dependent on the length of the limited warranty period.

Major components that fail within the timelines, noted in Table I, are eligible for this program benefit:

Dealer Labor Obligation: When an “Out-of-Warranty Part Concession” is provided by Trane Technologies, through the ASCC Program benefit, the requesting ASCC dealer must provide all the labor associated with the repair, free of charge, to the homeowner.

Proof of the ASCC dealer’s labor concession is a Service Invoice, signed by the homeowner, indicating no charge for the repair. The local Field Service Representative (FSR) secures the Service Invoice from the dealer and provides it to the Parts associate executing the warranty part claim.

The Service Invoice must be attached to the WMS claim. Failure to attach the Service Invoice may result in delay or denial of the claim.
